I've never used MuseCore, but it looks as if you can decide for yourself how the drum kit part is notated. If I understand correctly, it doesn't matter what it sounds like outside of EZDrummer, it only matters what the score looks like in MuseScore? Wolffman gives a good description of remapping above, but I wonder if that is what you actually need? It shouldn't take more than a few minutes to move the notes and export the midi file. Just right click at the very left ( on the note name ) this will highlight all the notes, now just use the down arrow in the numeric keyboard to move all the notes down to note 42, repeat with other open hats etc as necessary. Now to move all the midi notes form EG: note 60 to note 42 My suggestion would be to get a GM midi drum map for reaper an load that into the midi editor, now you will see all the kit piece names down the left side. To remap the hats is not as complicated as it seems will not take long at all. If I remap, can you point me to a resource or instruct me in a nutshell? So now I need to 'remap' somehow, correct? I mean there is no way I am editing the midi file in reaper to move all these notes around so the GM Midi player will recognize them, am I right? This would take forever Sure enough.midi map in EZD2 has the hats on this beat I created on keys 60, 61, 62 and 63 and the GM as you described has the hats on 42 and 46.
